Managed and executed all special projects, including but not limited to any nonstandard department work usually reserved for contracting out due to its specialized nature. Substantial fiscal net savings were gained by completing tasks in house.  Park apparatus installation, welding, repair and construction of city owned buildings etc.

Parks Maintenance Division 2009-2016

Performed skilled and semi – skilled tasks involving the maintenance, construction and repair of park and recreational facilities. Turf care being priority with a heavy focus on water management, soils condition and sustainability. Irrigation skill and blueprint interpretation required.  Secondary duties included site prep for large events, post event clean up, asset inventory and inspection post-event. Island Maintenance Division 2006-2009

Maintained street islands, traffic easements and right of way, by way of mechanical and chemical means. Tree health and assessment for hazard removal in the traffic right of way, using early warning traffic signs, cones, and competence in traffic calming and management.
